CO camp

haha. it was fun! actually ok only. the fun part is that i gotta know more CO people and also know them better.
went for self study first before camp. it's a hiong training camp where you see practices and more practices on the list. got my set piece song. was really sorry to not attend CO for the whole of last week! the instructor came and started on it.

oh, played captain's ball. haha. it was a exciting game where every group wants to score. and the winner had a 3 to 3 match? haha. then pass the parcel, where steven is out to sabo many people. but it's really quite fun to see everyone enjoying this game. after dinner cum bathing was dazu. sigh. managed to learn a little of bridge. sigh i'm so stupid! hahas. maze game at night, where you blindfold yourself and they take you for a walk. lame though. but was quite fun. our group got the shortest route :(

oh we played taboo which was shiok. our group alliance with one another. so we roughly know the word on our forehead. hahas. some people and some words was quite funny though. the part where steven called out ruoyi's name was damn funny cause he thought it was some other actions. and also the part where they put on his head saying that he's not allowed to talk!

bedtime. actually din't intend to slp but due to some miscommunication! and the exco wanted us to slp too. so we thought that steven had slept [due to no reply msg and no ans phone] plus the room was dark. and we went to slp. the next day, we then realised that steven waited till like 2 plus??? hahah. phone lag yea.

the next day hike up to lower pierce resorvior and breakfast there. short dist and the teachers walked with us! had quite alot of interaction throughout the whole journey. and i realised that some people i actually seen them before 2 or 3 years ago! took bus back. went for self study a while [which i actually slp] and dazu! the set piece was actually quite nice. :) but i guess we gotta buck up on it.

anyway, many thanks to the exco for organising this camp. we really appreciate it.
today was nigel's last day. was quite saddening though i don't know him very well.
so we've got a new chairman and vice. sigh. both our chair and vice chair left. :(
well, we still gotta work hard towards our goal. JIAYOU!

self study can be pretty boring. ding and wenzhao will be leaving for Thailand in a few hours time.

sometimes studying can really get you down. bleah. went parkway with laykuan today. wanted pardiz center but it rained. haha. went to buy stuffs. it's been a long time since i entered parkway. don't wonder why parkway. hahas. cause i got some vouchers to finish it off but i couldn't make up my mind on what to get. it took quite a long time for me to decide.

yeah, christmas is coming and it's the time for giving too :)
yes, you've got it. i want presents!
and it's really tiring to send off cards. but iLOVINGit.

sigh. forgot CO camp is tmr. haven pack yet. no packing list or consent form.
no mood to go. sigh.

Service Learning

woots~ our SL finally ended. well, all i can say is that i really learnt alot from this camp. be it from myself, the children or my fellow classmates. i know some of my friends really dislike children. and this camp made it worst. but i actually feel that they are still quite young and innocent.

day 1:
our long awaited day. met at 730 outside audi to prepare. time wasn't moving the way we want it to. soon, we saw many unknown children arriving [due to miscommunication from CDAC]. then at 9, the children arrived. first it was tough to get them to settle down in their groups. oh yea, i'm in SAPPHIRE. took attendance and gave out identities. started off with some ice-breaker games. and we realised that they do not really like to mix. and they were extremely quiet. station games after that was quite ok. lunch was horrible. cause the children did not finish their food! making them do performance is already tiring. teaching of friendship dance was worst. to them, boys and girls holding hands = some relationship! hahahs. they was actually reluctant to dance [though they know the steps] cause of the holding hands part! had some other games. guess they really enjoyed ball games even more! and SAPPHIRE ppl cannot really sit properly.

day 2:
as compared to the first day, today was MUCH better. they were much cooperative and bonded. though still quite noisy. play island in the morning and we found out that they liked island the best. the lunch was much better as in they finished their food! yay! teaching of borriquito today. it's really really fun seeing the children dance. with their cute actions. and some of them actually enjoyed dancing! but it's a little tiring, though they enjoy island and you see them playing and playing. my group got one girl keep having nose bleed until hang was scared of her! haha.

day 3:
island in the morning again! but at least it gave us time to finish up our cards and gifts. hehe. today was a pretty short day. and it rained. then rehearse for performance where me guowei and peiqi was doing up the video. it was quite nice! then the actual performance. was suprised that they actually can do last min performance which is good :) and soon it was time to leave. was quite reluctant but all things got to come to a end. but we did leave our contact with them yea!

well, this SL was indeed a learning journey for me. though there were ups and downs.
2 main lessons for me was to be more patient and never promise anything if you cannot fulfill them.
had debrief and exchanging of presents. guess we do enjoy it very much. exchanging of presents went in one big circle! and i would like to thank NAS for the very cute bear. i love it very much. and james for the christmas present. thought you were just kidding yea! and guowei, hope you like it. sorry that you actually folded your own stars. but it wasn't that much! hehe.

went for class dinner at secret recipe. the food damn shiok. thank you miss chan for paying! was quite touched yea. desert at swensens. played guess the no. cum truth or dare. it was damn funny at the kelvin and laykuan part. anyway, thanks 3306 for doing such a great job. really enjoyed it. and i don't mind doing it again :D

SL prep

had been preparing for our SL tmr for the past few days. well, can i say that it's sort of boring. but the good thing is that can at least skip half of the study session [which i don't know if it's good or bad].

wasn't feeling in the mood to prepare on the first day. probably cause my mind wasn't really on it but was on something else. it got me so worried that i even skip CO practice that day. makes me feel that i'm a bad girl yeah.

guess it went pretty well on the second day. just that some of them din't know that the time was changed to 11 instead and they came at 9! hahas. slacked around at the study area before strolling my feet to nexus. guess we were pretty much productive today. and we got our class tee. the supplier didn't really do a good job. the shirt was too dirty too. sigh. and before the tee shirt came, me laykuan and guowei went to AMK central to buy stuffs needed for SL. was quite rush though. and i brought stuffs for christmas exchange too. been too broke lately. after that we tried out the dance and the games. ISLAND is a fun game. it keeps us going.

well, tmr is the actual day. hope the children are nice :)

33/06 BBQ

woots~ had our first ever successful 3306 BBQ YESTERDAY. it was quite successful considering the fact that we finished up most of the food except for some crabmeat etc. and everyone turned up for the BBQ except guowei and wulin. i guessed everyone had fun, either BBq-ing or playing. :)

actually met up with ding, wenzhao, huijie and kelvin at parkway to help buy food and everything. then went east coast. we were considered quite early. soon the rest arrived and we start up the fire and tada~ we start to bbq. the bbq food was nice and so was the ppl bbq-ing :D

then went to the breakwaters to find laykuan, yujia and ding. i could say we just had fun. managed to interact with the class ppl quite alot. and of course miss chan :) after that we get to pick name for our christmas exchange. well, i actually got someone quite unexpected!!! haha. i think it would be fun. can't wait for christmas exchange and to know who you actually bought present for you.

took bus home with james and yujia. the bus was quite fast, not like what ding and daryl said - the bus ride was long. it wasn't actually long, considered that i reached home in like 50 ++ mins. chatted with james throughout the whole journey. now, i can't wait for SL. :D

ms tay's wedding

hello. decided to start off a new blog to start everything afresh.

ok, back to the topic.
afternoon, went to Anglican High School All Saints Church to attend ms tay's wedding. was really quite happy to see my buddies, as well as juniors once again. and i witness how strong LOVE can be :)

after the wedding, the guys started consuming helium. and they produced weird sounds =/ hahas. was actually quite fun :) then went marina square with yiqing and joel. we passed by this exhibition where there's phones on display. so we went to play with it. OMG. N73 is damn cool can. we keep taking photos with that phone until the person came and told us that the phones were meant to view videos. and it's like damn embarassing!

went mac for dinner + chatting. missed the days in CCHMS. and the days in CO. SYF days etc. well, life gotta move on yea. can't wait for class bbq tmr. it would be fun. definitely :D
